Dear all,

could someone tell me why when i connected my PTZ camera 220 meters away from the DVR the image on the screen keeps rotating and a thik black line in the middle appears.

Another question is what could happen if i connect the power cable from the power supply to the camera incorrectly (+,-/-,+)?

Hello,

The horizontal line issue sounds like a grounding problem, which would be a cabling or connection issue. If your camera has + & - markings for power, then it may be a DC powered camera. If so, then you should be careful about NOT applying reverse polarity, as it may irreversibly damage or destroy your camera.
