If you placed your order, but did not receive the DVR for a week or more... their is a good chance that it was mailed from Taiwan or mainland China. The main problems is that typically, equipment sold this way is junk or knock-offs that legitimate vendors do not want to touch. Lastly, tech support is very hard to obtain.
